STEAM Education Remains Popular
More and more parents are considering STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) Education in a reputable international school for their kids. By introducing them to the joy of learning STEAM in early stage of education, students are more likely to choose and excel in STEAM-related fields.
Out of our eight students, five chose majors that are related to STEAM. And for the others, they will still be able to make use of the knowledge and approach from learning STEAM in their future endeavors.
An International School with Flexible Education Pathway
At Sampoerna Academy, Grade 11–12 students who passed the IGCSE Level may continue to SUAC instead of taking A Level. SUAC allows students to earn up to two years of transferable academic credit (the equivalent to the first two years of an American Bachelor’s degree), and then transfer to top universities around the world. Alternatively, they may complete their study in Indonesia and graduate with an American bachelor’s degree.
Even after our students graduated, Sampoerna Academy will continue to watch their back and cheer them on from behind the curtain. We hope this good news will serve as an inspiration to our present students to aim higher!
Update:
7 June 2018 – Inten Cahya Ningtyas and Fuad Mohammad Harharah added to the list.
