We just received words that 59 of our students passed the World Mathematics Invitational (WMI) Preliminary Round) with 13 gold, 22 silver, and 24 bronze awards. Five students are from our Jakarta campus while the rest are from our Medan campus.
In Jakarta, the preliminary was held at Jakarta Nanyang School on 24 February. In Medan, it was held at Global Prima National Plus School. The competition involved 2,800 students from different schools in Indonesia.
The final will be held from 13–17 July in Seoul, South Korea this year. We look forward to witnessing more of our students’ best performance in this prestigious competition.
